CBHUK (The Council of British Hajjis) was founded in 2006 after concerns were raised over the welfare of British pilgrims during Hajj 2005. These included failed promises by some tour operators and general lack of preparedness by the pilgrims themselves.

We continue to represent the British Muslim community on matters pertaining to Hajj & Umrah travel and work closely with Licensed Hajj & Umrah Organisers.

Our work also entails working with key government departments such as the Department of Business and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as well as agencies like the City of London Police, Trading Standards and the Civil Aviation Authority.
